Been filling out loan and grant applications (mostly the latter) for college. Fun stuff. My tuition has climbed to $41,000 for the degree program. I may not be able to attend this semester. ;_;

My hours have also been increased at work. Again!

Oh, tell me about it. I'm trying to go to college, but it's getting so expensive, it's causing me some problems.

Gah, I know exactly what you mean. Teachers and parents keep telling us, "Go to college and get an education," but then the price of said education increases by thousands of dollars every year. It seems counter-productive, doesn't it? I don't get a raise every year to compensate (though my employment agreement says I get a 10% raise clean and clear every year for the increase in living expenses, though I don't get that either).

I've been fairly decent, other than the college troubles. Work has been keeping me busy, and I come home and usually play games or talk on the phone (or both) until I go to sleep to get rested for work the next day. Whee! It's not bad, but it's not overly exciting, either.

Hopefully things will pick up a bit once I finally get enrolled into college. I'm going in for a four-year degree in computer animation, so I can't wait. If I get a good career, I'll be getting paid for doing what I love. What more could you ask for?

You're exactly right about college. People keep telling us to go to college, but they don't realize that it's more expensive than most people can afford. Most of my friends have taken out either
