Last day...

The end of a workday and the end of the month and it gives me a moment to pause and think about what I've learned since I started working in the Hall of Justice. Tomorrow is the last day of my internship here. I"ve been single for almost two years now after 5 relationships straight! nope, i have never been single for more than 2 months....
from being single you make more time to learn about yourself...take time...eventually the right one will come along..

Thanks Alice, I agree that being single gives you more time to learn about yourself... you have time to think about your own wants and needs as opposed to compromising those wants and needs to please another person. Successful relationships occur when both parties have a strong sense of self and know what they want in a partner. "To thy own self be true."

it looks like you're new to lj, welcome! you'll eventually find your soulmate. i don't even think about marriage either, i guess i'm still searching for the one. however, i am enjoying the single life. i think once you start a family, you have no time for friends and that is when friends drift away.

I agree with you Jen... I think it's time to build up those friendships and share time with your family. Once you're married, your own family will take up the majority of your time...hopefully you can involve everyone else into that time as well so noone will drift away. Of course, that's a bit wishful in my thinking. :P

What's up Albert? Law school isn't particularly fun, but I think a legal education is a great thing to get under your belt. Lots of people who goto law school don't end up practicing. However, it is a lot of work and it sucks up three years of your life. I'd think about where your interests lie in the field of law first. If you can handle a great deal of reading, writing, and analysis, law school is an environment in which you will thrive. If you want to apply for next Fall, I'd get crackin' on studying for LSATs now and take the October LSAT. You don't want to take the December LSAT unless you absolutely have to since most applications are due by the middle of January. Best of luck! If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.
