That sucks for him... I hear if you do lots of short one-way flights, you get tagged for higher security. To be honest, I have no idea what their criteria is though.

the computer randomly assigns the security check. i've had my ticket marked once out of the gazillion times i've travelled. it just happened that he got tagged for it and turns out, he had to go through all these airports in the end. what bad luck. how's the weather up there? it was pouring today. took me 30mins to go one mile. woot woot!

Hey, I like you when you're angry and ranting! :) This is a side of Steve-o I hadn't seen. This account by far blows away any harrowing airport stories I have to tell. The worst that ever happens to me is my flight being cancelled after I arrive at the airport because of inclement weather. But then again, it's my fault for choosing to live in the North Pole. Actually, my most traumatizing experience occurrred when I was coming home from Korea and the bag carrying all my toys was lost en route. Somewhere out there there is a child playing with MY magical hair-growing my little pony ( ... )

I don't get mad very easily at all... but if I do, you should watch out. =D I don't think I'd like stewing in "unbridled frustration and rage."

Wow..i read the whole legal briefing... Nothing beats having a thousand dollars stolen from you, WHILE on the plane as you slept! To top it off, the only one sitting next to you is a forty year old Chinese woman who did not speak any English. So, being Asian and that whole respect your elders thing...was I to accuse her? Craaazzzyyyy!

Wow...thats the most action youve had all year long with getting so many patdowns in a weekend.

Anyhow, not only did I have to take off my shoes, jacket, belt, take out my laptop, etc., but they also ran a wand metal detector around my entire body (as I held my arms out to my side with my palms facing upwards and legs spread), they had me patted down,

wait...were these people females? :P

Sorry... nope. Females search the females, men search the men. Less chance for harassment lawsuits, I suppose.

really. I got searched by males before.
they found my naked woman lighter that lights up when you press it. I'm not sure if I told you about that story...but girls really do get away with a lot of things :P poor you.
on my way back, I got searched pretty badly because of the mushrooms and cigarettes(for my mom's friend) I bought for my mom...I had to take everything out of that "fobby" bag! ugh..and then ended up paying $80 taxes for those cancersticks.
