OOC: Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Yakko Warner is many things. First and foremost, he is a cartoon character. He can and will make random costume changes out of nowhere, pull things out of a kind of hammerspace that exists both just out of the line of sight of other characters and in his pants, and break into song and dance numbers with spontaneous musical accompaniment. He could easily be described as insane. He's like a young, animated Groucho Marx in many respects. He is likely to greet nearly every female with "HELLOOOOOO NURSE" or some variation thereof.

Yakko comes from one of those wacky Warner Brother cartoon type canons where it's established that he and his sibs (Wakko and Dot) are cartoon stars of some. So in the same way that a character might know of Bugs Bunny, it's theoretically possible that they've heard of Yakko. I wouldn't count on it, though, since most of the Warners' cartoons were locked up in a vault decades ago. He and his sibs have also helped Einstein win the Nobel Prize, Beethoven write his fifth symphony, and sang a song for Magellan as he sailed around the world.

One should not expect linear conversation from Yakko. He enjoys wordplay, he enjoys visual puns, and he enjoys taking virtually anything that's said as a setup for some kind of joke. He also enjoys learning today's lesson with the Wheel of Morality.

Oh. And never let him near a map of the world.

I apologize for any excessive wackiness that occurs with him around. I do not, however, mean that apology sincerely.

Zayne Carrick is very possibly the worst Jedi Padawan on the record books in a time 4000 years before the Skywalkers. His skill with the Force is marginal. His skill with a lightsaber is just sad. His luck appears horrible. His Master openly despises him.

Really, Zayne just has three things going for him. First, he's extremely friendly. His ability to make connections with people was the first thing that the Jedi really noticed about him, in fact. Second, he tries his best, no matter what the odds are against him or how many times he's failed. He just has this weird unshakable optimism about him. Third, he has a "special relationship" with the Force. In brief, it doesn't want him dead. Not yet, at least. All of his luck goes into improbable, sometimes even unbelievable twists of fate that will save his life. The Force guides his fate such that somebody will step in to rescue him at the last moment, or Zayne's Force power will briefly be much greater than usual, or a fly will lodge itself into somebody's wind pipe...

The Force does not necessarily want him happy, but it does not want him dead, either.

Ben Reilly is the formerly dead clone of Peter Parker from the mainstream Marvel comics. He is, in short, the clone of Spider-Man. He's a good guy, very big on responsibility, big on trying to make a life for himself, and sometimes he puts on his Spidey gear to punch things that need punching. He will lie to you about any and all of this. It's a secret identity, yo. He'll even dismiss the fact that he looks identical to Fandom High Alumnus Peter Parker by claiming to be the cousin of another Peter Parker from another universe (which is close to the truth).

He's also a little concerned. He was brought back from a pretty definitive death by a powerful cosmic being bent on reshaping the world to his will. Ben has no clue what that will eventually mean for him.But for now, he's taking it to mean that he should enjoy every day as if it's last. Because it might be.

Jolee Bindo Is a former Jedi from a few years after Zayne. He left the Order in his youth because he felt that they abandoned him by giving him a slap on the wrist for disobeying the Order's ... orders... with tragic results. He became a hermit, spent a couple decades with Wookiees, befriended a former Dark Lord, saved the galaxy, and came to Fandom to buy a bar and retire.

He's a grumpy old man who's as likely to give you wacky stories from his past as he is to tell you about how you suck for being young. He probably doesn't mean too much of it. Unlike Zayne, he's really quite talented with the Force. He's really good with mindtricks and he's able to use dark powers like lightning without tainting himself because he's able to do so without letting his emotions control him.

And he will be the first to call you an idiot if you think you can manage that kind of thing, too. Mainly because you don't know what he had to go through to learn his lesson about letting himself feel emotions, but not be controlled by them.

Peter Parker graduated from FH last year. He attends Caltech, lives with his girlfriend, Zero, works on the website of an alternative press newspaper, and catches some swing time as Spider-Man, the only superhero in Zero's world. Peter comes from the Ultimate Universe, so he is completely clueless about Ben Reilly.

GOB Bluth is a Fandom ex-pat. He's an idiot, a jackass, a womanizer, and an illusionist. He is currently making his way to the Panama Canal. He'll get to California in his yacht eventually.

Nick is the player of all these characters. He is a former winner of the Nobel Prize for AWESOME. He also works during the day without LJ access, so is usually around from about 7-11 PM Central on weeknights, and then most of the day during most Saturdays and Sundays.
