Is it really too creepy?
Okay this has me worried, but only a little bit. I just switched over to gmail for my primary email account. The main reason isn't because I don't like to delete things but with the amount of space they offer it is great for sending tons of files with large pictures and other such things

If you're def creeped out by gmail just stick with yahoo. My yahoo account got bumped up to 1 gig. I won't ever approach that limit with email anytime soon.
My view on email is that email isn't very secure. I wouldn't send anything confidential ever through email. Considering when you send an email it gets sent around mostly in plain text (unless you encrypt it with like pgp or something) through who knows how many servers at any point someone could be watching.
I like the way gmail sorts things into conversations that makes it much easier for me to read. Aside from that it's another free email service.
