ap history class taught me that heretics souls were 'cleansed' by having them drink scalding liquids and having them consume hot coals. interestingly, soap was also a method of choice which is where the 'wash your mouth out with soap' thought descended from. pleased don't be disturbed, i just thought that it was interesting and i think after this, most people would prefer your rolling in mud any day. =)
