Trying to stay classy while I wait for my dad to finish his smoke break so I can deliver his diapers.
Also 1/3 of my team at work has been eliminated. He will work on another team until he finds his true work home, it's sad but also fine because he had basically gone rogue anyway.

Well that's a day.
Got up at 5, took out the dogs, got to work by 6:40, worked til 4:30, fired off passive agressive email reply to dad's nursing home, hit The store for kid's snacks, hit the bank for babysitter payment, picked up kids from said babysitter, discussed hitting incident at great length with said babysitter, home by six, homework ( Read more... ) -

Crack addicts are surprisingly(or not surprisingly) good at clearing a house out!
I have an entire library of books that noone will take because of "mold".
I don't see anything other than old book dust but now I have to throw away hundreds of books like I'm Farenheit 961 or something.

Today while unloading my dad's house for a pick up from St Vinnies I ran into a book about Egypt with my mother's extensive notes and potential itiniary inside.
I should chronicle Depressing items found in my Parents Former Home. That would be on the list. Also, some dusty faded 8x10's of me as a baby was surprisingly depressing.

After spending my morning break in an extremely passionately heated dispute with the guy from Lifeline, I find out that a pipe in my dad's house has frozen and burst, flooding the garage.
It's my dad's birthday so we're supposed to be at his Nursing home right now, we'll get there.
