He's finished racing? Or they told you he was finished racing? Sounds to me like he had a bit of race left LOL!

Very glad nobody and no horse was seriously hurt at all - oh! And I guess this means he floats well if you were able to take him out? Huzzah for that!

..someone needs to tell him that cantering is fun, galloping.. not so fun! The annoying thing is that he is a sweetie at home. I never had a problem. But WHAMO out with other horses he is a prancing, mincing galloping showoff!

And yes, he floats beautifully.. one of his more redeeming features! Unlike the other two >__>

That beautiful boy looks like the epitome of steady, reliable innocence. ;D He wouldn't try to show off! Nor would he take his rider on an uncontrolled race through the country side....

Joking aside, it's very lucky that he got away without a serious injury (and you, too!) :o so it sounds like his heart is definitely in the right place. I love your beautiful ponies. <3

Haha! Indeed, such a sweetheart on the ground, and in his home paddock - perfect. Typical male, gets all difficult when out in a crowd >__>

I did think for a minute that dying on horseback was probably not a bad way to go, and his second run there were moments where I considered bailing off.. but the thought of dealing with winter in a cast just turned me off!

I should update more often but... I fail at updating this thing!! *extra snuggles for my absence*
