I bought this 1TB EHDD last year and used it to save my precious files
but this month, it suddenly said, "you need to format your disk".
What did you do when that pop out appeared?
I restarted my laptop without ejecting my EHDD.
When my laptop opened, the message no longer popped out.
My files were saved but I am being very careful starting that day. :(
Tell me more about your EHDD. :(

when that pop out appeared I click cancel..
and then I eject the HDD..
and I'm afraid to do anything with it, so I will try to open it again tomorrow maybe, because one of my friend said maybe that trick should work..
well, I will try your method and see if it work..
that HDD is too precious..
