Wednesday, September 1, 12:10pm: arrive at Missoula airport for 7 days with Lexy and 6 days with Jenny.  So happy.

Speaking of the wife, I got to talk to Lexy last night which was delightful.  She survived a hurricane and is bravely and fiercely battling The SARS.  Not everyone's wife gets The SARS twice and lives.  You should all be in awe of her( ( Read more... )

I was actually wondering about backpacks and such for Japan too. Really the whole luggage thing is a big question mark for me. (Which is sad for me, because I'm the one who's done the study abroad thingy before so you'd think I would be able to give advice rather than having to look for it again, but oh well.) I have a big suitcase, a huge hiking backpack, and my small school backpack. Not sure if I need the middle one, or if I should take that and a smaller suitcase, or what...hmm. I think it would be nice to have the smaller one from school to use for classes there, though.

I'm using my large hiking backpack as luggage, hopefully it'll work as my carry on because its easier to get around. ::shrugs::

Why the Canon Powershot A80? Isn't that a digital camera? What is alluring to you about it? (I'm looking for a digicam myself now).
