No Sense of Humour?

A snippet from a phone conversation

"A warehouse by the docks, sounds so cinematic. I believe that it would be fine. Should I have a white carnation?"

Seiko laughs, "Only if the mood strikes you, but why punish such a lovely flower by reducing it to tacky ornamentation?"

"No reason at all." You can hear the mirth in his voice. "So when would be convient for yourself?"

"Since you are doing me the favour, I say the time table is in your hands. I have no pressing business this week."

"If tonight is not acceptable, perhaps tomorrow evening? All I would need is the address, and I will be fine."

"Tomorrow night will be just fine. Let's continue the dramatics and say at midnight? At *blah*?"

"Sounds lovely. You will know me as the figure outlined by the moonlight, hat tilted accordingly to increase the anticipation."

"You're going to wear a hat, even? How positively mysterious. I'll look forward to it. I'll be the wan and pasty damsel in a dress."

"I will be prepared to be enchanted. Until then, Lady Seiko."
