[The feed flickers on and off a few times as Yukiko tries to use it as a light in the cave. Her Vulpix is down by her feet for once, and she's rather glad she bought winter clothing while in Cherrygrove. All the walking has taken it out of her and she needed somewhere to rest, but even with the sleeping bag in her starter pack, it is far too cold

[She's tired and needs to rest. Her pokemon could sleep while she walked but... she couldn't.]

[Chie is struck with terror as the feed goes out, seeing the huge group of Zubats and the injuries all over Yukiko.] Oh, geez, are you okay?! [She's gotta be. Chie knows Yukiko is tougher than she looks -- they all made it through the toughest stuff in the TV world together -- but that doesn't make her any less scared. Or guilty. If she hadn't decided to stay on her trip, maybe she would have caught up to Yukiko before this happened...]

I'm just not sure how to calm this pokemon down. [She keeps her voice gentle all the while, petting the poor thing. Don't feel bad though, Chie! She just rescued a poor Teddiursa from being bullied by the local Zubat.]

Are you sure? Geez, I'm sorry... I shoulda gotten on the move by now, maybe I could've... [She shakes it off and looks at the Teddiursa again. There's something else she can focus on for now. She lowers her voice a bit and continues.] He does look pretty scared... Do you have any berries or Pokémon food you can offer him?

It's alright, I think they were bullying him. [Yukiko glances towards her backpack before reaching inside for the berries she'd picked on the way around.] I should do, yes. Hopefully this will work.
[Awww, look. Cute teddy pokemon sniffing at the berries then nibbling on them.]
