I.
"Hora, it's not like that Ryutaro! Can't you see? Of course it's not included!"
Yuto's eyebrows met.
"If you are going to tell a story, finish it."
This time, Yamada tells it to Keito.
Yuto remembers clearly how Yamada talked to Ryutaro and Keito during 7's radio shows. Yuto wanted to ignore it, but then again, he couldn't. He wanted to talk to Yamada about how the older boy tends to be blunt sometimes.
"Yuto, you're not doing it right." Yamada points at Yuto's work. "Read the instructions."
"Yama-chan..." Yuto said faintly as he stopped cutting the vegetables for a moment but resumed shortly.
"You're not doing it right again, Yuto! Mou...you are careless sometimes you know that?"
Yuto was a bit startled and looked at Yamada.
Then again...Yama-chan's just being honest. Yuto thought weakly as he let Yamada guide his hands.
II.
Yuto admired how Yamada would be so hard working. Every now and then, the other members would stop for a break during rehearsals but Yamada would be left there, practicing until he gets it perfect.
It was Yamada's mother that answered that time when Yuto called their house. She would say that Yamada is practicing a dance.
Yama-chan always works hard. Yuto thought as he looked up to see Yamada dance.
Yuto regretted the moment he chose to look up. Yamada's hip rolls would always be...deadly. He remembered when the former 7 performed fatalism. Yamada was definitely an eye catcher...especially for Yuto.
Yuto felt his knees shaking. He turned around to run quickly as he kept a hand under his nose.
Yamada's hip rolls were fatal indeed.
III.
Yuto collapsed on the couch in the dressing room. He grabbed the pillow, placed it on his face and screamed. Yamada was worried so he approached Yuto to ask what's wrong.
"I accidentally shouted at Raiya a while ago and he's crying a lot." Yuto said as he ruffled his hair with hands. "Tch...ore wa baka!"
Yamada embraced Yuto. "I'm sure everything would be fine. You'd make up with Raiya soon enough."
Yuto knew that what Yamada said were simple words. But when he looked at Yamada, they became special encouraging words.
Yuto's anger melted and he found it hard to be agitated now...not when Yamada is looking at him with a sweet, healing smile.
IV.
Yuto thought of a plan. This time, he promised to himself that it's Yamada's turn to be weak.
Yuto held out a pack of strawberries in front of Yamada. When Yamada saw it, he tried to grab it but Yuto held it high where Yamada cannot reach it. Yamada jumped up and down to reach the strawberries but it still wasn't enough.
Yuto stuck a tongue out at Yamada and the shorter boy pouted. Yuto was laughing while Yamada's pout slowly transformed into a smirk.
". . ."
Yuto was left there crestfallen. His plan was an absolute backfire. He helplessly watched Yamada, sitting on the couch and enjoying the pack of strawberries.
Yuto didn't have a choice but to surrender after what happened.
Sure, Yamada couldn't jump high enough to reach the strawberries, but he sure can reach Yuto's lips.
V.
"Yama-chan, I told you I'll pay for it." Yuto said as he placed the snacks down and sat on the sofa in Yamada's room.
"And I told you it's alright, Yuto." Yamada smiled.
"Next time, I'll treat Yama-chan, ne?" Yuto said enthusiastically.
Yamada smirked and crawled next to Yuto. Yuto blinked and backed away slowly.
"What if I asked for my treat now?" Yamada whispered on Yuto's ear.
Yuto started to weaken at Yamada's deep voice. Yuto became even helpless when his eyes were locked with Yamada's.
Yuto glided his hand slowly on Yamada's back before he pulled the older boy down to meet his lips.
The next moments gave more proof for Yuto to realize that he could resist nothing about Yamada.
