Number three sounds like utter and complete bullocks. So like if someone is interested in mathematics but has the intelligence of a 5-year-old child they score higher than a CEO woman who got a Masters in Law likes to punch paper in holes as a hobby? Idgi.

ah i didn't really explain it properly. XD the "personality" components are things like openness to experience and extraversion and the "interests" was a thing where people were separated into categories such as, for example, "Investigative" interests which means the person prefers task-oriented activities and thinking of solutions. and these things (openness, extraversion, interest type) affects knowledge and how 'intelligence' is processed, i.e. they could have a negative or positive effect if expressed more strongly in one person and not another. does that make sense? kinda? XD it's difficult to explain if you don't study intelligence in psychology.

:D I've got a course in psychology next year. WOOOO. But erm, I think I understand what you mean but it's still a bit hazy. *phew* who thought intelligence tests were that hard?

haha, well, the very concept of intelligence isn't even agreed on by psychologists. XD so therein lies the problem.

1. Don't forget so confusing with the Olde Englishe stuff. (I always felt that the words "Old English" should both have Es at the end. I think it looks much more old time-y.) I hated reading Beowulf, so I utterly ignored the reading assignments and aced all the tests. And no, I didn't use Cliff's Notes. I just knew enough about it from listening to my mom talk about it. Anyway, also, I hated reading Shakespeare. Yeah, he's great and all but I always got confused about it. I liked the translations better, anyway ( ... )

1. i read it the first time and was thoroughly confused, but after having a couple of classes on it &all of us getting the plot down it's easier to read. but i went through it line for line, again, to write that essay on treasure. XD i don't recommend it.

2. what!? Australia is big on saying we're multicultural etc. but of course there is a fair amount of racism, as there always be. and sure, tell some of them Mexicans to come here. XD

4. haha, yes, Evangelion was the other movie i was thinking of showing them but i really wanted to focus on technological advancement and the body, which the opening of GitS really displays well. :3

yes, i know! i'm not all that worried about the diabetes thing, in fact it didn't surprise me that he has it. a lot of my friends' dads have it, too, so. i just thought i'd mention it at some point here. X3

2. Woo! Take the Mexicans! Then you can listen to bad music when they drive by. It's really bad, too. I don't know what the lure is.
