did the heat start the fires? i had someone come to crabtree who was visiting from australia, said it was +40 right now :/

most of the fires were natural occurrences (apparently there wasn't much backburning done lately; and with the heat...) but some were set by people. there's an ongoing investigation which will probably take the better part of a year to sort things out, if they even catch the people that set some of them :/

it's been above 40C here (sydney &most of the rest of australia) for at least 10 days, one day it was even 47C. thankfully now it's cooler with rain supposed to be coming (in sydney).

He showed himself to be something other than a slime. I mean, redeemed himself from his personal sliminess. And actor sliminess. x_x He no longer repulses me.

i'm not actually a big fan of sports either, but i love watching men's tennis (and poker!). XD idk why, it's odd. i think we've had this discussion before >.>;

fsdfg milk was amazing, wasn't it? My friend's great-uncle was actually living and protesting in San Francisco around then, and he said it was pretty accurate!

YES, AMAZING. also, i'm glad it was accurate. i saw an interview on Ellen with the guy who played the killer in the movie and he said that a lot of the people who were extras in the candlelight procession scene were from the original procession. :] which is great.
