Hurray for a job/money! It sounds really tough to get a job in your field. Maybe they'll offer you a full-time job after your freelance work!
I know what you mean about being an adult. I miss those 3 month uni holidays, I miss the 12 hours weeks, sleeping in, skipping class, all the free time! T_T
it is! the publishing industry is so small in australia and vacancies are relatively rare. but imma trying :3
i doubt they will, they have a lot of staff. though i'll be happy if they come to me in the future for freelance oddjobs. :] i really do like working there even though it's not ultimately what i want to do.
haha yeah. sleeping in is easy for me to do, but i really need to find a job and that's harder than writing essays. @_@ *makes grabby hands at her uni life* come back!!
Oh YAY. They're very lucky to have you, I'm sure they'll see that. I hear ya on looking for permanent jobs. People keep pushing me towards photography but that's freelance self employment stuff. Sure, I have a magazine paying me on occasion when they need me but that's not steady income. Self employment for the spring makes me nervous! But hey, as you say, anything to keep us busy and get experience! I'm confident something will eventually come along for you. Meanwhile, I concur, student life is easy! That's why I'm sticking to part-time studies on my supposed time off, haha.
At this very moment I'm trying to breathe. :P I've switched puppy classes (the first dude was a tool) so I'm heading out of the city in an hour. @_@ NOT GOOD FOR AGORAPHOBIA!
so it's kind of turned into a 2.5week job! YAY MONEY! although i'm now always tired and busy and everything gets pushed to the wayside and i spend even less time on LJ and keeping up with people ;_;
freelance is a bit scary, yeah. what kind of job did you do before the magazine stuff (if any)?
and i can't remember if i commented on your other posts but i'm glad things with cider are going so well in the second class :]
ohh, are you guys (back/still) together or is this just a friend thing? and everybody i know online seems to be moving lately! haha. good luck with that, i've heard moving is stressful.
nothing else new from me, really. i went to a party last night and caught up with all my friends (hadn't seem them in a month and a bit) but that's about it.
