Torchwood...
As Elmyra I saw the trailers for the new sci-fi crime series Torchwood and was fell for the hype. I was quite disappointed that it was on BBC3 so was pleased when it turned out they'd be showing it on BBC2 as well

No less cheesey though [than Doctor Who]. Some of the 'acting' was on the cringe worthy side, and it felt a bit like a 14 years old boy trying to be adult 'Look at my show, it has sex and swearing and openly homosexual behaviour isn't it mature'.
The other thing that irritated was all the city shots. It's something American programs do, the difference is the American city scapes shots are more dramatic, more interesting, shorter and fundamentally NOT showing Cardiff.
Seriously who actually wants to look at Cardiff given a choice.
