I Quit. (past tense)

Mar 31, 2008 10:29

So, I did it, I quit.

I was expecting to work out my notice period to give myself a month to find something else. My boss felt otherwise though and told me to bugger off.

This further reinforces my feelings that my position and projects were/are worthless.

Ah well, time for the searching to begin... now, where's this monster think... *goes

Ouch, that's harsh. Still, I hope this leads to something much better for you. Good luck!

Yikes, that's nasty. I suppose if it's you tendering your resignation rather than them firing you, then there's no legal guidelines on how short your period of notice is. Good luck with finding something new; mybathjobs.co.uk was rather good to me if you're looking for work in the city, but I don't know if that's where you want to be.

I think that definitely says it all, good luck finding a job, and I hope you get one where you are valued.

Man of your word, clearly. ;-) Think you're right - if that was all the reaction you were going to get, best it was on your terms.

Good luck locating the next job.
