Chose a place where it would ruin their day if you left. Then you - and any complaints of yours - get proper treatment!

Also, I'm amused at the image of you on a *low*-powered bike (as opposed to something big and nasty, possibly with hard-points) - can't shake the image of your knees sticking out to the sides.... Sorry!

The training is there, I understand, because they're one of the few companies which realised there are a huge number of people with the qualifications and potential to be good for their company, but without 3-5 years experiance in their (very specific) field.

Unfortunately I am rather cramped on a low powered bike, but I'm assured you can get large lower powered bikes, which would be plenty big enough.

I've since been given an offer for the "not-Bath" job. Apparently in their testing I got 100% in one and just one question wrong in the other. I impressed them so much they're offering 15% above the previously quoted starting pay and a one off cash bonus.

I'll have to poke the Bath place and see if they can equal the offer.
