I had planned on asking the adiminstrators here about lodging, but there was no one in their offices. There are far fewer people in the streets, as well. Could they really have vanished? I know now there are many bizarre occurences in this world, but for so many people to go missing - something must be wrong.

The city of Avoria is enormous - no city in Yama was ever this large or this populous. Whoever controls this territory must be extremely powerful, though I have not heard anyone speak of such a person in my few days here.
