christmas isn't a big deal in japan... a lot of people go to work on christmas day. it's more like valentine's day - it's common to have dates or parties on christmas eve and like, give presents to your girlfriend or whatever but not the big deal it is here.

it's just an excuse for celebrations, it's nto the 'family' type thing it is here i don't think ^^
