Reports: Ashita no Joe (April 14, 2010)
More reports coming in! These are taken from XQ, I don't have time to search for more these days and they usually find all the good ones anyways. =D
1. From a middle aged male extra:
The first day of filming, the scene of the match between Riikishi and Joe, Yamapi came out in a white bathrobe.
When I saw that, I couldn't help but make fun on the inside, "Are you a porn star?"
Yamapi had probably just finished showering, he seemed very pale, amazingly good looking
Seeing Yamapi's muscles, it could be seen clearly from that how hard Yamapi normally works
Although compared to the actor for Riikishi, it still seemed a bit feeble..
As a fan of the original, I didn't want to see Ashita no Joe made into a live action film and become a laughingstock like Dragon Ball
But occasionally, seeing Yamapi's side profile, that kind of melancholic feeling, it makes me think that maybe this person can actually do it.
Hopes that the movie will be a success
During the break, Yamapi lay down in the boxing ring and slept
Because everyone there was male, Yamapi was with them the whole time, female fans must be jealous.
2. Another male extra:
Filming is a lot of fun~
I'll reveal an episode here
Yamashita Tomohisa-kun, he lay down to rest during the breaks in filming
The wait time became a bit long, and by the time rehearsal began again, he actually fell asleep
The other actors saw and laughingly told the others (lol)
He must have been tired from so many days of continuous filming
It was a fun filming site.
I bought this after the filming was completed:
I'll work hard too~!
3. From a mother, whose son was an extra for two days at Kiryuu:
My son had a long two days
Ashita no Joe, the two days of on location filming in Kiryuu are completed~~
The filming went successfully, both days they finished before the anticipated time
Getting up at 5am in the morning, filmed for a long time...
My son seemed very tired too...
(The time spent waiting between scenes were really long..)
The first day, he came home, showered, and went straight to bed
(I wanted to ask him more about P...!)
The second day, they finished in the evening, so my son was more energetic than the day before (lol)
I heard him tell me the first day, "A lot of people came to see!"
I couldn't contain it, so yesterday I also...
When I went to the filming site, I searched a bit... (lol)
Just one glance is okay~~ I want to see Pi-chan~~~!
Thinking like this, the morning passed
There weren't a lot of people gathered in the morning, although it was a bit far away
I got to see Pi-chan with my own eyes
The expression on his face as he smilingly talked to the staff
The way he looked standing there and drinking from a bottle
Ka~wa~i~i~!!! (So cute!)

Very very gorgeous and attractive.
Even though it was far away, I immediately realized that it was Pi-chan
His charisma is really amazing after all
Later on, big black boards were put up to block everything inside
Before noon, I could see a bit of his profile
In the afternoon everything was covered up and I couldn't see a thing
It's a good thing I went early in the morning!
"Action!"
"Cut!"
"Ok!"
Just hearing voices like this, I became excited^^
My son got a lot closer than I did, and saw Pi-chan..
Between the filming, the voices of the actors and staff, my son stuck his ears up and listened too (lol)
Ahh, so jealous!
And then my son said when he got home, "I touched Yamapi's elbow..."
Eh??
Ehhhhhhhh??
What?
Touched him?
(Rather than touched, it was more like they brushed against each other during filming...)
Just as I was about to grab my son's hand
"I already washed my hands...."
Ahhh
Even if it was indirectly
I wanted to touch too (shame)
