Finally news of the casting for Riikishi is out! It's Iseya Yusuke-san, who is almost 9 years older than Yamapi. Apparently, they talked amiably during the breaks in filming. Most often, Iseya-san would start the conversation, and Pi would reply politely (in keigo).

Interesting. The original call for extras listed the location filming at Kawasaki (april 17 and 18)using 200 extras. I wonder if they had to do a last minute location change due to bad weather? And this report proves why little brothers can come in handy sometimes...they can be your spies on filming sets...lol. Thanks.

I remember reading about filming being cancelled for 2 days due to rainy weather, but I can't find that report anymore and I can't remember when/where it was.. :P You're probably right, it was most likely the Kawasaki days..

I remember that report too about canceling filming due to bad weather, but I thought it was much earlier (not the 17th)...maybe 12th and 13th??
10 - crank in, 11 - Kawaguchi, 12/13 - none, 14/15 - Gunma, 16- none? 17- saitama, 18 (today)- listed as Kawasaki.

I vaguely remember it was over one of the weekends. Either last weekend or this weekend? Probably should have saved that report.. I THINK this report was today, but now I'm not sure...

Mr. Extra that was actually clothed felt almost frozen? I can only imagine how poor Yamapi felt half-naked.

I'm sure Pi will eventually warm up to the other actors, and they'll all be fanboying him eventually. They just need to go drinking together once, I'm sure.

I don't think I've seen anything Iseya has been in, but it seems like he's been in the industry quite a while.. He seems nice, starting conversations with Pi and all, I'm sure they'll get along well in no time.

I lol'd at Yamapi's nikki entry for today. His fingers must have still been frozen and that's why he couldn't type anymore xD.

Yup, sounds like Pi-chan alright. (It's becoming a habit to call him Pi-chan now after reading these reports so many times.) Yamapi is always respectful and quiet around sempais (I want to shake him to loosen him up!). I also agree that these older actors will take him under their wings and fanboy him sooner or later =).

Tokyo has a high of 15 and low of 4 degrees today.. Must have been REALLY cold, poor Pi. But this entry is not SO short if you consider the "bamboo shoot" entry. XDD
It's amusing and endearing the way Yamapi is still quiet around strangers, especially seniors, even after so many years in the industry. XD
