New reports for the latest filming session are here!
There is a gag order to these extras, and a lot of entries are locked or have very little detail.. Apparently Pi was even wearing a wig to the Lady Gaga concert! All the secrecy is making me want to watch even more. XDDD

worries me that he has to film half naked and weather in Japan is not helping at all T_T

I noticed that line too, really really hoping it's true!
Yeah, it's so cold but I guess it's hard to move the filming dates or anything, having gathered all those extras already.. Hopefully they finish these scenes too, or it warms up.. Poor Pi. =(

I know! What on earth did they need to rub him with oil for??? Excuses to touch his smooth skin? LOL XD
Not positive that he wore a wig, but definitely a lot of people said it looked completely different from Joe hair. Can't wait to see it!

We know that he has beaaautiful muscles, but I really wondered about someone with Yamapi's face playing a boxer role, so hard to imagine.. It's a relief hearing people say that he fitted the role well after all. XD

I personally thought manga!Joe had kind of a cute/boyish face, especially in the earlier volumes, so I was actually wondering why people were saying he was too soft/pretty to play the role. A lot of Yamapi's softness is lost when his hair is black.

People have said Kurosagi hair with longer bangs, and black haired Kenzou.. From these reports it seems like it was a bit fluffier than those hairstyles. Really can't wait to see it! XDD

He is so polite and nice, almost hard to believe for such a good looking person, even in real life! Ashita no Joe is a live action movie of the anime by the same name, which was reeeeally big in like the 60's. When the character Riikishi died in the movie, a bunch of fans actually held a real funeral for him and stuff, very influential piece of work.

There was a fan photo of Yamapi at Lady Gaga's concert, you can probably check it out at watchful21's journal. =D
