Report: Ashita no Joe filming (May 30th, 2010)
I've been away from LJ for a bit, but still taking the time to stalk whenever I get a chance. XD
Here are some recent reports. AnJ filming is coming to an end! Hopefully there will be a press con soon and we'll get to see Pi on TV once again! =D
1.
When Kagawa-san was done filming, he and Pi hugged tightly.
There were members of the staff who cried because of Kagawa-san's speech.
It was very cold today, Pi worked hard filming a running scene.
And then, a few days ago during filming, that day it was very cold too.
Pi used his own jacket to wrap up the children and keep them warm
They say his closeness to the kids were at 120%.
I'm not a fan, but I really think Pi is very cool.
Even though I haven't had much interest in him before, I feel like I want to support him from now on.
2.
Today, Pi seemed to have started filming from early in the morning too.
He seemed to be in a very good mood, a lot of smiles
Normally, after the filming was OK he would immediately return to the car to wait, but today a friend seemed to have come to visit. He walked, talked and laughed with a pair like a husband and wife, and another man.
Moving between scenes, he walked himself and didn't ride the car.
Filming in the morning was of the Bridge of tears
He seemed to be used to the track suit, and the towel which hung on his neck matched the colour of his track suit.
I guess it was a kind of fanservice
Today is the slow and fresh Pi-chan
And then after the filming of the street, Tange-san, Nishi-san and a few other actors concluded filming, and gave speeches after receiving flowers
According to a Pi fan, G-chan, some of the female staff cried
Pi-chan seemed a bit like he wanted to cry too
Afterwards, they took photos in front of Tange's boxing gym
They seemed very happy.
3.
Today I went to see the filming again!
I arrived around 11am, but Pi seemed to have started filming since 8am.
I ant to see Pi on the Bridge of Tears.
When I arrived, there was filming on the street,
Because he was wearing that track suit, he was easy to find.
I finally saw him from between a crack.
Apparently it was finished here.
Tange-san, Nishi-san, some other actors (who I didn't recognize) concluded their filming.
On the set, Pi presented each of them with flowers and greeted them one by one
There were members of the staff who were really crying
Pi probably didn't cry
But I could see his profile, like he was trying to hold in his tears.
After that, everyone took a photo together with the set as background!
Pi laughed as he talked to the staff
During the photo, everyone made victory signs
After that, Tange-san and Pi took a photo in front of Tange boxing gym.
It's really going to end soon...
Even though on the workdays I couldn't come to see,
I was really happy to be able to see Pi today~
Drinking from a paper cup, blowing his nose, practicing running,
Even though these are all such common things, but Pi is really super cute no matter what he's doing (lol)
4.
I went to see the progress of filming,
Saw Pi-chan on the Bridge of Tears!
It was really great
I saw Pi-chan from between the gates
Seemed to be filming a morning scene
Wearing a tracksuit and brushing his teeth
Smiling and tossing a badminton birdie
Seriously so adorable!
The filming at this set seems to be concluding
He turned towards us, and nodded in greeting
Afterwards seemed to be an interview
He wore red short sleeves and those pants
He was interviewed on the slope outide Tange's boxing gym.
Afterwards, there was an obachan about my age who took a photo with Pi-chan
I seem to be getting jealous
And they shook hands tightly
He was standing, wearing a jacket and hat
Perfect fanservice
Why are they still not starting? When I was getting aggitated
The staff came to the entrance,
I understood that they were coming out
But they went the opposite way
Around 1pm, according to what everyone said, it was the scene where they swept the grave
Even though I heard that they would be changing sites, today everyone was extra secretive.
About sweeping the grave, I'll alk more abou it tomorrow
Today filming seemed to have begun at 8am
Saw him holding a little girl's hand as he walked along
Even though he did shadow boxing, it seemed more like a kitty punch
There are more people than expected who came many times and never got to see Pi
Compared to them, I felt extremely lucky.
