Father has gone. Perminantly it seems this time, Dante seems rather troubled by it all which I must admit, surprises me. He was always the one to speak badly about Father, but perhaps it was all just a facade, they did seem to be getting along better since he started to spend more time with us, so it's rather strange to see him subdued like this. I think he feels guilty for betraying Father's trust and showing me the note, but he knew I would have found out sooner or later regardless. He wants me to keep this quiet from everyone which I also find rather peculiar, normally he doesn't care about family business becoming public, it makes me think that i'm right about him taking it rather badly.
Dear brother, you and I need to have words. About where you keep the aspirin, for starters. I cannot believe you actually managed to talk me into it.
