back on Cecille's ship
Back into playing Arc Rise Fantasia. I'm on the Verect Skywalk right now and I just beat Dynos...and decided to take a vacation from the skywalk to stock up on healing items before returning. It's sad, but I hardly ever use magic in this game. I almost always just use high potions and be done with it.
People in this game really seem to like offing themselves. Sometimes it's for a good reason, and other times, well... Dynos now is the third person, and I'm willing to bet there will be more "sacrifices". Really, I can understand why the other two died, but Dynos' death was just retarded. "My father never loved me" is not a good reason to die. Then again, maybe if his story were fleshed out past the whole "My father sent me to kill this woman and I didn't want to, so he tried to kill me", I might have cared more about his death.
Interesting thing is that feldragons are ancients who lost their dragon gem. Ancients can't handle the hozone, and turn into feldragons if they're not protected. And what was L'arc fighting in the beginning of the game? Feldragons. Which means that L'arc was killing "humans" all along. I don't really think L'arc's really grasped that yet, or rather he isn't giving himself time to get distracted. We's got a mission, after all.
I have this awful feeling that Alf's gonna die somewhere along the way and L'arc will have to sacrifice himself by sealing himself away so he can save people from the hozone pollution.... at least, that way things are going. >_<
Recently my hair has been extremely dry and almost chapped. So I've started a new "Rejuvenation Treatment", in which I've been giving myself egg baths, taking multi-vitamins and LE GASP drinking milk! Well, I sneak milk into my food, at least. I've never had problems with my hair in the States, so I'm thinking it's a mix of the water, the shampoo I was using, the winter, and, probably, my diet. So the month and a half before I leave is going to be totally devoted to getting my hair worked out.
I'm starting to get really worried about my criminal record since I have to get my ARC renewed before I leave, but I am unsure of it I have to get my criminal record done by then. Since it's the national criminal record, I'm not even sure if I would be able to get it all done in time, especially since I need to get it notarized and apostillized. Please pray that this all works out well. I really don't want to have to try and get a refund for my flight back to Korea or anything... >_
