Chinese New Year, Day 3

So today was the last day of our vacation. I wound up heading out to COEX, a convention center and mall with my co-worker, James. I mostly went because I wanted to see the Nintendo store, which we DID see.

They also had a cute store with lots of Ghibli merchandise. That was right next to the Nintendo store, actually.

I wound up buying a Kitsune-Risu plushie from "The Castle in the Sky" (and apparently Nausicaa)

I called him "Arrow", since that is the company that made him (lame, huh)
We went to the bookstore as well, where my friend got a book and I got some Full Metal Alchemist novels.

All in all, a fun day. I'm really glad I was able to go out and have some fun. We finished up by getting pizza at Mr. Pizza and hanging out eating pizza.

So apparently my Windows Media Player is retarded because today I was listening to a song and all the sudden the sound got completely muted. I went to see what the problem was and it turns out that the sound went to 0%. I had had it at 100% and wasn't even NEAR the computer when it happened. Needless to say, I was a little worried. I had some errands to do, so I put on a 60 minute CD and cranked the volume up to 100% (which isn't THAT loud for my laptop) and left the apartment. I came back ten minutes later and it was at 30%. More panicking. As I was eating lunch, I tried watching Kyou Kara Maoh! on Windows Media Player Classic and the sound didn't change at all, so I've decided it's probably WMP's fault. So for the first time in 2 1/2 years, I redownloaded winamp and got a nice Shadow Hearts Covenant skin for it. Problem solved. I'm glad it was nothing major and easily fixable by just using a different media player. As to what caused it in the first place? I have no idea; I'd assume something in WMP got glitched and caused an error with the volume control or something... I don't know. >_
