The pacing in Ikemen Desu Ne seems to be a lot faster than the Korean version, which I guess is to be expected, given the shorter episode lengths. I like the faster pacing in some ways, although I also feel like the development of the relationship between the two leads seems kind of rushed as a result. Maybe that's my imagination though. I'm pretty happy with it overall, although I do prefer the Korean version.
I noticed that too, but to be honest, I think the Korean version draws some dramas out for too long. Maybe it would be good if both countries could find some kind of balance...
I definitely prefer the characters in the Korean version. I am kind of annoyed that they tried to make the Japanese actors look just like the Korean ones, especially since the show kind of deviates from the original, anyway. But regardless, it's cute. And I like that the main girl doesn't seem to have an obsession with the mother nun at her church like the Korean one does.
