Mom called today. They found three growths on her thyroid. They're a mixture of soft and hard, which makes it a suspisicious growth. They want to do a biopsy, but per Mom's wish, they're going to go ahead and take out her thyroid (she figures if they're going to go so far to biopsy it, they might as well take it out).
