I finally finished my thesis proposal and my working bibliography! :D I can probably update my stories by Wednesday :)
Anyways, this plot was inspired by Lady Antebellum's Run To You. :) I love that song, really. I remember first listening to it and it just made me go starry-eyed *_______*
Title: Run to You

Summary:
Meet Jung Yunho, the only son in an overly-religious chantry family. He does his best to live up to his parents' expectations and make them proud. But when they try to ingrain a certain concept in him, he draws back and tries to run away from the unfair bigotry.
Kim Jaejoong, on the other hand, is the only son of an aristocrat and is brought up to follow schedules, meet boorish people and devote himself to a suffocating system. One night, he decides for himself for the first time and runs away to a place where he's an equal.
One is tired of hate and prejudice surrounding him; one is sick of the lies and the lack of control in his life. Two souls are on the run from themselves, hoping to bump into a little happiness on the way. So it's just appropriate that these two stay with each other; after all, two parts, though broken, can make a perfect whole.

ღ This is in a sort of medieval and magic setting. You know, with the knights and the mages and shit. I dunno why, but I guess I've been playing Dragon Age too much =))
ღ Yunho is the son of a chaplain. He grows up with religious and moral views, but one view he cannot understand is that love--consequently marriage--should be shared by people of opposite genders. In the village he witnesses people being punished or sent to prison for loving people of the same gender. When his best friend is executed, he leaves in a rage because he cannot accept that love should be so conditional when it's not.
ღ Jaejoong is a son of a knight turned lord. Being the only son, he's expected to fulfill certain obligations. But that makes him feel suffocated and controlled, and he doesn't feel very human anymore. After being betrothed to his father's friend's daughter, he flees to save himself from the injustice.
ღ I have yet to work out the actual plot, but I think this is going to be cute <3 Hehehe. Basically they just... run away. :)) And prolly meet people along the way hehehe.
NOTE: This is going to contain some of my religious OPINIONS. I personally find it unfair that marriage should only be for straight couples. Christianity is to promote love for God and neighbor, right? I don't see how the Bible tells us to "hate" on homosexuals, really. I know it has to do with the fact that two people of the same gender can't reproduce (which is one of the objectives of marriage), but if you deny them marriage because of that, then you're also denying them of their first right: love. This is my PERSONAL view on the matter, okay? I'm not trying to convince anybody to think the same. If you're not comfortable with that or you're a little conservative with your views (or you consider what I'm doing "blasphemous"), then I suggest you don't read this. Rude comments that have absolutely NO support or foundation of their point will be laughed at. Seriously.
The story itself isn't so serious =____=;; But yeah, there WILL be idiots out there. I can feel it. :| I'll try to make this as light and romantic as possible (meaning I shouldn't focus too much on the religious stuff) so you'll enjoy :)
