Okay so I'm playing this PopCap game called Virtual Villagers. It's a little sim game where you start with a little group of villagers who are trying to settle their own corner of this island, which happens to be the site of ancient ruins. So there are puzzles involved to discover the secrets of the ruins and so on

I'm getting flashbacks to The Giver here....XD Of course, if that were the case, Amber would be good at construction, since that's what Birthmothers do after their term as baby mommas are up. Also there's no sex. It's that kind of story.

I did finally get her to learn the building skill.

I've never heard of that story. Would you recommend it?

Oh, definitely. I haven't read it in years, but I have very fond memories of it from middle school. It's sort of a dystopian future disguised as a utopia, where all differences have been erased. The only one who remembers the ways of the past is the "Receiver," and...well, it's kind of hard to describe, especially at 3 AM. But it's definitely worth a look. ^^
