This was... sweet. And completely heartbreaking. This is how I like my UraIchi, Ichigo turning to Kisuke as a safe haven, somewhere where he can drop his mask and let raw emotions show.

I just love how Kisuke explained why sex wasn't a good idea, that Ichigo would soon connect the bad experiences he's had to the act and what that would do to their relationship. So very, very, very true.
I really like that Kisuke was s straight-forward on that topic too, really pounding it into Ichigo's head, and that Ichigo did accept it finally. And then break down. Oh dear... Poor, poor kid.
That's what I love about him, his complexity. He keeps a brave face on most of the time, but it's easy to tell he's terrified deep down. And like I said, I find it very plausible that Kisuke would be the one person he'd allow himself to be vulnerable with.

I have this big grin splitting my face now, can't quite help it - I'm really, really happy you liked it! *hugs back* I'm glad it's to your taste! Especially since I'm in the mood for hurting Ichigo (though I think you've already noticed ^^;;).

I did feel heartbroken while writing this, having them go through all that nasty shit and living it through with them. Makes me think I'm a real masochist *laughs*.

And yeah, Urahara's rant. It honestly did take about 3 month for me to finish the fic, making random notes to it, having King help me a bit and push me to writing further. And I couldn't imagine Kisuke saying it any other way - I think of him as someone who always knows what and how to say something to get to somebody. Really admire that part of him. Or I'm just reading too much into him ^^;;.

But I do feel pleased with how the whole thing came out and that you enjoyed it. Couldn't wish form more. ^^
