Mar wanted to wait, he really wanted to.He gave his best to stay awake up till now, but all the schoolwork and studying he'd done over the weekend practically ate his brain out and he was too tired to even stay upright.
He changed into his sleep-gear after the shower he took several hours ago in hope of reactivating his braincells so now he simply crawled under the covers and reached out to set the alarm.
He'd just take a nap - he promised himself.
Two, maybe three hour long nap and then he'd get up and pace around the apartment waiting for King to get home at last. After those eternity long three days.
Maru kept his promise and stayed as happy as he could. Though it was more of a busy happy than happy itself. Still he thought he managed pretty damn well in comparison to last week.
It was only a couple more hours and he'd be able to jump into his tiger's arms and kiss him silly. Yeah, that definitely sounded good.
So the kitten closed his eyes and hoped he'd recharge enough to greet his lover properly.
But even though the alarm tried and tried the drained Kitten sleep it all through. The weekend must have taken too much of a tool on him.
When King came back he was a bit disappointed that no one threw himself on him. But the moment he stepped into their bedroom and saw his kitten the feeling was all gone.
There, in their king-sized bed, curled on the tiger's side slept the claret head. King noticed with a smile, that his slighter lover held King's pillow in his arms, the kitten's face pretty much buried in the soft material.
King shed his clothes and slipped into bed behind Mar, wrapping his arms around the sleeping kitten. The claret head turned in his arms and snuggled close unconsciously, acting on instinct alone which earned him a smile and a kiss on top of the curly mass of hair.
They'd say 'hello' properly as soon as they'd get up.
