Well both venues are fun one bonus of living in an area close to nice historical places :)
Ah royaltywest looks like a mock castle/manor house? Looks nice in the snow.
My town has a Castle (over 945 years old) that will do wedding's but that is like major major money D: The next town over has a castle (near 900 years old) but it has been in ruins since the civil war.
Our theme is more rustic Autumn with hints of Halloween (Addams Family etc) So Guy's Cliffe add mystery as it is only recently trying more to open to the public but apparently can see 'ghosts' so guests may go try ghost hunting lol maybe get a jack skellington scarecrow in there lmao
Those venues both look lovely! Fingers crossed everything will work out for you ^^
I do hope your music choices won't cause any issues - I can sympathise there. When Matt and I got married we had chosen a playlist for the reception, lots of our favourite songs but a few people complained that they couldn't dance to the songs (mostly metal/rock) so we were forced to change to dance-y type music. I wasn't too impressed :( I hope the same won't happen to you, you'll need to be more assertive than we were! :P
Well I have been told for the sake of daytime guests (family) maybe we should have some more indie radio safe music and party stuff for the beginning of the evening and as it gets later and family will leave and its more evening guests (friends) then have the 'heavier' tastes.
I think the fight will be what will actually be our first song dance. As the second song is 'Time Warp' from Rocking Horror as DJ's always ask everyone to join the bride on the groom on the dance floor so why not make them do something silly ;D lol
