I asked her earlier in the day, and she told me that he is depicted as a panda. Unfortunately, the original sketch she made of everyone didn't make it into this entry. However, I'll see if I can post the picture in a separate entry. He looks more like a panda in that picture.

For the others, Dragonswimmer is depicted as a dragon, Ivy_pool a cat, and Homer a rabbit.

Yes, I gathered that Dragonswimmer was a dragon, and I thought Homer was a rabbit (probably named Bunny). I was fairly sure Ivy_pool was a cat, but I was wondering about KFP's darker ears and tail. Now it makes sense!

We'd love to see the original sketch. I remember yamyamkat being good at pandas from the drawing she gave KFP.

Oh my goodness, this is so cute! What a fun story, and I love that it's inspired by another's work on onomatopoeia. I also think it's wonderful that this story shows the best thing we can do is use our imaginations. I think that's so true!

These illustrations are great too. I am completely enamored with the drawing depicting all the LJ Idol Minor contestants together as adorable creatures. That just makes me smile so much!!
