And a happy (and safe) new year to you too. I thought of you this evening as I lit my Samhain fire.. I hope you are safe and reasonably unaffected by the storms.

I was really lucky. My power flickered a couple times Monday night and that was it. We did get winds and a lot of rain, but it's been so dry this summer that the ground was able to absorb a lot and I didn't have any flooding.

That's good news.. after last year I was pretty worried that you would get flooded out again. Hope the rest of the winter is uneventful, weather-wise.
