Struggling

I'm really struggling with my next story. I actually have two on the go at once and I'm not doing well. Heat makes me lazy, no matter if I'm actually out in it or not. The temps have been in the high 90's for the last few days and all I want to do is veg. I have a filthy house and laundry up the hoo-ha. Ugh.

I know the feeling, cept it's the humidity here. I told my granny I didnt wanna do my laundry so I was gonna turn into her dog & just start sunning on her porch. She told me to just keep paddling & go do my damn laundry. Keep paddling - be a duck, calm on the surface, but paddling like hell underneath.

Exactly. A friend on a forum I like said nearly the same thing. She's trying to get an afghan done before her daughter goes off to college. Imagine knitting wool in this heat! Ack! I'm squeezing the story out like lime juice, one drop at a time. (glad I didn't promise this at a certain date.)
