I hate this year. So many stars gone too soon. Others, older ones, people I grew up with.

And on top of that, I'm getting sick. Chills, joint aches, stuffy nose and a headache behind my eyes.

So ... Fuck this year. Fuck it, I say. I'm staying up late just to watch this fucker die.

I tried to reply to one of your posts but it wouldn't go through.

So. Unfriending ... I've only unfriended two people in all the years I've been on LJ. And both because they started posting in not English. One was posting in Greek the other in Russian. I explained to the Greek person because they asked, that was when the 14 year old realized that LJ is international. The Russian was just a prick.

I've been drinking tea with lemon and ginger and taking aspirin, so I should be good to go in a day or two. As to celebrating, we don't. He's a retired cop and I hate New Years Eve traffic. We'll stay home and have snacks and a beer. He'll go to bed at 9:30 or so and I'll stay up just to watch the year turn. It'll be nice.
