I suppose you're one of those bitter control freaks who doesn't understand that you've given folks plenty of reason to dislike and distrust you, and that doing so doesn't automatically make them wrong.
Two words come to mind: Narcissist and sociopath. Methinks this "redemption" thing you've convinced yourself you're on doesn't actually start and stop with bedding a Charmed One and refusing to stay dead. You've got a LONG way to go, jerk.

Cole may -- at times -- have a bit of a control issue, but that's more often than not negated by the good that he has done over the years. He's well aware of what he's done over the past century, and knowing that, it does tend to make him a bit more defensive when it comes to people criticising his actions, as he feels that he's not only defending his current self, but his past actions as well. Knowing where he's coming from -- as I've been there myself -- I understand that it's hard not to feel as if you're being judged on every single thing you've done over the years

No, you're entirely wrong. I completely understand that I've given people plenty of reason to distrust me. I think of that every day. It's taken a lot of time and effort to get my relationship with Phoebe and her sisters to where it is now, and I fully realize just what a precious chance they've given me.
For you to walk into this situation without realizing the complexity of the issues involved and start insulting me is the height of rudeness and idiocy. No doubt you'll gain Slide as a fan, and perhaps that's your goal, but unless you actually know what you're talking about, you'll find you'll get very little support in your accusations otherwise.
