I never met your Grandmother, but I know you loved her dearly and spoke about her often. Kendra and Laura and Jenn have also told me what a lovely lady she was.
I don't want to say anything trite, because I know that never helps anyone and never eases the pain. All I can tell you is that I DO know how it feels to lose someone you love slowly through dementia. It hurts in staggering ways, but I agree with you that there is also some relief in knowing that your Grandmother is no longer suffering. There is a small, but definite comfort in that.
I can't speak as a collective whole for the E-Group, but I'm sure there's no danger in saying with assumption that wE love you and send you lots of hugs and comfort your way. That I think I can safely say.
