I'm on the fence. It does change the dynamic, but *shrug* if he can handle all of us, then hey - why not?

I always thought part of the point of the rEtrEat was to get away from our guys -- not that we don't love them, but we need some girl-only time (except for you, of course, Dan :) ).

I thought the point of the rEtrEat was to relax & get as much of the E group together as possible and to catch up. *shrug*

I'm not on the fence. I dont want to be meeting anyone for the first time at a rEtreat., and especially a S/O. It changes the dynamic too much. this is time i relish and need where I can be completely comfortable. No offense to Carmen but this is a deal breaker for me. I've never met him and I refuse to compromise on this. Making an exception for Marcus is different because each of us knows him, and they would be traveling 2000 miles so yeah. I'm sorry but I just cannot and will not bend on this.

I'm really not cool with meeting someone for the first time at the rEtrEat either. The whole point is the comfortable familiarity of only people we know and lovE together away from the rest of the world, whether the world is new stuff or otherwise. I have nothing against Carmen's husband, but like, the rEtrEat is the LAST place he should be. Most of us have never met him at all, and that's really not cool in my book to bring him to the one place that is supposed to be the most comfy place in the world for us to all just let it hang out and be ourselves. I can't do that with some new random DUDE there. Just not into that idea at all. Sorry Carmen, but my vote is definitely a resounding "PLEASE DO NOT BRING HIM".

This is my favorite holiday of the year (yes I consider it a holiday as it is annual and special and made of marshmellows and hugs and drunkenness). Please don't mess with it!

we have big marshmallows this year. we saw them in the store. they are super dupper huge....lol and of course we'll have the ingredients for smores :)
