I've been thinking a lot...A year ago, when I was captured, I resigned myself to my fate. Because I truly felt it was time for me to pay for my sins. But now...

You're right. I want to save Marie. I can't leave her there to be used. And I'll use Arios Gundam to do it.

I remember seeing you around back on Earth. Who did you escape from this time?

*Kira walks around the corner as Allelujah is looking at Birdie. Birdie then flies up and lands on Kira's shoulder.*

Hello Kira. No, Birdy wasn't bothering me at all. I was just lost in memories of the past for a bit.

Marie. She's a friend from my past. I was just thinking about the time we spent together.

Was she another super soldier?

At the time, no. She couldn't move, or use any of her five senses. For some reason I was the only one who could hear her when she spoke through her quantum brainwaves.

But HRL did something to her, because I've seen Marie several times. When I fought her a year ago, and most recently while I was in prison.

That was the woman you encountered when you were imprisoned, wasn't it?

Yes...But before I came across her there, we were friends at the HRL institute. I was literally the only one who could communicate with her.

I see...because of your quantum brainwave abilities.

...that's quite a connection to have to someone. To be the only one who can talk to them, I mean.

It was why we became so close. She was someone I could freely talk to, and she could have a glimpse of what little bit of life I could show her. Marie even gave me my name.

Although I can't use my quantum brainwaves anymore, I still am determined to find her.

I think the year away made people forget I'm generally a quiet person. I've just been reflecting on the past a bit, that's all.

Apologies. Although I did not meet you until a few months ago, I do recall reading that when I first joined Celestial Being.

That being said... would it be too much to ask you what exactly in the past you were thinking about? I'm as much a medic as I am a technician, and peace of mind is part of your health as much as your physical wellbeing.

Mostly about an old friend of mine...One who I thought was dead until recently.
