either way i think i'm going to have to disagree. the reason being that the cab driver in philly is the same cab driver that drops him off at the house in bel air. so if the cab in philly took him to the airport, the same cab picked him up from the airport in california. this posits that the "magical cab" can drive as fast as an airplane can fly. without being pulled over and arrested, and maybe killed on the spot, for driving approximately 300 mph. or maybe he was driving too fast to even be seen. in any case, this is incredibly problematic, and the whole scenario is a little foul if you ask me.
