113 Anastasia icons

Today is the ninety-third anniversary of the death of the Romanov family, so I made a massive batch of icons (old and new - mostly new!) of Anastasia and her family from 20th Century Fox's animated musical, Anastasia. If you aren't sure which family member is which, hover over the image for a description.

Lovely icons! Although, for some reason, there are some I can't see, no matter how many times I refreshed the page

Did I? I always thought Olga would be the one with the shorter hair … there was a thread at the Alexander Palace Time Machine forums where the members tried to pick out which sister was which, so I'll go double-check and correct the labels /)w(\ And feel free to take as many as you like! That's what they're there for. I'm glad you like them!

Passing through and wanting to comment on the loveliness of your Anastasia icons. ^_^

I have to agree with ageofglass though on the labels. I think Tatiana is the one in the peach-orange coloured dress, given how much she resembles the Grand Duchess, at least according the photo on wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tatiana_Romanov) and the fact that Tatiana was often noted to be the tallest of the four sisters.

(I just guess with Olga and Marie; I assumed that Marie was the one in the lilac and Olga was the one in pink, since there was a passage in My Anastasia by Sharon Stewart that described Olga as being lovely in pink at her coming-of-age ball.)

Thank you very much! I've gotten used to seeing photographs of Olga with her hair up more often than not so she was my first assumption but you do have a point about Tatiana being the tallest of the girls. Here is a larger image of the family portrait that's pictured in the palace ballroom if that helps us pick out who is who any though…!
