Mixed blessings

Thanksgiving week this year brings mixed emotions.
On the plus side, there are the days off and a visit to Anthony and Brad (and Tia).
On the negative side this will be the first holiday since my father died. I know I haven't posted about it but he passed away September 30. And though I really really miss him, life has been so darn busy that I

Oh, Gary. I'm so sorry about your dad. I know how much your parents mean to you and I'm glad that they made you who you are. If you're like your dad, then your dad was a good man. I hope you have a good Thanksgiving filled with wonderfully happy memories of your father.

I'm sorry to hear about your dad, too...there are times when you just can't write about things so close to your heart. Peace be with you and your family. We should have coffee the next time I'm in town (as opposed to just saying "hello" as the elevator door closes). :)
