Message from the extremely irritated cat:

Well, aren't YOU feeling all snarky and shit? If you aren't part of the solution, then you're part of the problem. Why don't YOU post something amazing, compelling, and thought provoking? Yeah, YOU.

Teen angst is so boring.

ok.....i guess the proverbial "jk" is in order. Maybe the cat with a cantaloupe on its head was a little too abstract of a photo to null and void the vague assertions that preceded it...

PS. Someone sounds a mite bit vexed by this post, but not "irritated" enough to enlighten me as to how a LJ post can change the world for the better...because thought-provoking posts are everywhere.....

P.P.S CAPS JUST MAKE YOU SOUND PUSHY

life is not so black and white. you could be the problem, the solution, neither or both. what if a problem is actually a solution to something else? also, i detest it when people label things. 'teen angst'.....tell me, who in this world is qualified to label anyone's feelings, thoughts, writings or speech in such a manner? no one fits underneath one label. people make there own labels. someone who labels is just not that much aware of the reality of the thing or person they are labeling. everything has an ambiguous nature. there is always a gray area where one loses themselves in a sea of confusion...but it is in that confusion where one finds the truth.

Labels - oh how artists hate labels! They define us and confine us. But we are all labeled - by gender, race, ethnic background, religion, occupation, and on and on. A label can be merely a description of who we are or it can be a value judgement. It can be both innocent and damnable. How a label is perceived depends a lot on the person deciphering the label - their opinions, prejudices, or lack of information can all cloud the truth. There is always a danger in using a label collectively because every group is comprised of unique individuals. For example, not all Democrats are liberals ( ... )
