I first discovered the anita blake series almost two years ago, I got hooked right away. I own every book LKH as ever written LOL. I'm a huge ass fan. Isn't she brilliant? =)

I love the way she writes Anita's character! and Jean-Claude too. ;) I was reading like a book a day last week cause I couldn't stop reading them. What are her other ones like?

I KNEW IT! I saw that auction browsing fairy art, and I WONDERED if that was you, or just somebody heavily "inspired" by you! I almost emailed it to you thinking that somebody was "borrowing" your faces, lol!!!! Argh - I soooo want to develop a pseudonym - I'd love the opportunity to be able to experiment like that without having to worry about alienating anybody, or having my name attached to it..... I just know that one of my fans would see it and send me hate mail thinking I was some copycat of myself, lol

If you do try it pick a better name than I did. ;) I was going to use something exotic but I thought if I wanted to carry the whole being another person thing far enough I would need to have a name I could cash checks under. I have a cousin named Lara so if the issue ever came up I could use her name. Its hard trying to not draw like yourself! I didn't realize how much I rely on my own style.
I listed a drawing last year and got like $35 for it so since I've been getting around that for paintings I thought I could just start doing drawing and make about the same...unfortuately that did not happen.
Dee has been doing really well lately! Her drawings kick mine's ass. ;)

yay for anita!! i adore the anita books muchly (as you know). the new merry gentry book came out tuesday but i'm not as into that series as much either. i wait for those to come out in paperback while the anita books have me lined up outside borders first thing in the morning

I hate it when people do that to stuff I'm bidding on...especially if I've had the high bid for a while. Its a pleasant surprise when I'm trying to sell though. ;) I've got a couple of buyers that will wait until the last couple of seconds before they bid. If it was going to sell that low I wish you had got it...at least then it would have went to someone I know.

i wish i had gotten to raise my bid before i went to class. i remembered that the auction was ending that night as soon as i got in the car to leave and i just knew that was going to happen. oh well. i'll better luck next time. although, honestly (and there is no ass kissing here), your original stuff should always sell for more than i can afford. i should make an effort to grab one up while i can... :)
