We definitely should be sorting out planet Earth before we go look at space. If we can manage that, I think most of the fantasy sci-fi stuff will come about some other way.

A commune is nice to visit, but you can't do as much to change the world living there. And that will always win out for me.

I have asked myself those same EXACT questions many, many times only to never really come to a resolution. I have absolutely no idea what I am doing with my life, why I am here, or what I am going to accomplish by the time I expire. I think that self-improvement and learning as much as possible with meeting as many people as possible, experiencing things first hand help to make these decisions. Whether to settle down and have a family, start a career, or just keep experiencing as many things until something if it does, become clear. The money that a degree will pay, doesn't necessarily mean that will grant happiness, or a peaceful life either. I think I have spent too much time pondering these questions, and not enough time just living and taking everything for what it is, the future is unknown for a reason ( ... )
