If you say "fuck" Tookie, do it on sentimental grounds. Every time a human being is executed by the government of the United States, I question not only my merits as a citizen, but the merits of my parents, and whoever was involved in my eventual presence in this currently sadistic America.

I share your sentiments, although I'm never thrilled at the killing of a person regardless of what they did. All this energy should have been spent on someone innocent. Not a three time murderer.

I didn't know the Tookster was given the Hot Shot by the Federal Government, all the news accounts made it appear that the State of California performed the execution. I'm not arguing that he wasn't, it's just hard to find such details, at least on Wikipedia. I just don't see how the killing of four people would bring Federal Murder charges, and not State Charges ( ... )
